This dog looks smart. But does he deserve a degree? (Byron Holland/AP photo)
Two brainy Texas pets are getting national attention after the women?s-interest blog Jezebel noticed a Wikipedia page detailing various cats and dogs who have earned high school diplomas or college degrees.
In February 2012, KHOU?s investigative team was able to get a high school diploma for Molly, a photographer?s basset hound, by paying $300 and taking a ?doggone laughable? test.
The site also lists Colby Nolan, a housecat belonging to a Pennsylvania deputy attorney general, who was awarded an MBA degree in 2004 by Trinity Southern University, a diploma mill based in Dallas. As part of an undercover investigation, the cat filed an application claiming to have taken courses at community college and listed several past jobs.
